PASADENA Private / Charter Schools

Waverly School   Elementary and Middle School   CityTennis coaches run a fantastic, structured after-school program spanning the entire school year, providing tennis instruction for grades 5-8. Students are carpooled to a local facility.  Practices consist of drills/challenge matches.  Over 20 participants.

The Sequoyah School   High School Tennis Team  Sequyoah School partnered with CityTennis to assist with finding the best coach, providing equipment for players, and securing a solid facility to commence its first high school tennis season.  Practices consist of drills/challenge matches.  Tuesdays/Thursdays 3:45 - 5:15  Over 15 participants.

Aveson Charter School   Elective Tennis Program  Aveson Charter School partnered with CityTennis to run their daytime elective program. Students are escorted to Loma Alta Park, where they engage in a 2-hr program with 2 different levels.  Practices consist of drills and live-ball games.  Mondays 12PM-2PM  Over 12 participants.

Odyssey Charter School   After-School Tennis Class  CityTennis coaches escort students up to Loma Alta Park (4 courts). This is the first time a tennis organization has worked with Odyssey Charter School since 1999 when they opened.

Arcadia Unified School District

Holly Avenue Elementary   Partnership w/Right at School, LLC  Students are picked up right after school and escorted to the tennis courts to learn the fundamentals of tennis, play games, and have fun with other Holly Avenue students.   Limited to 40 spots per day.

Wilson Middle School   After-School Tennis Class  CityTennis brings programming to Wilson Middle School in Pasadena. Open to the public, so that kids from neighboring elementary schools can join in the fun! 10-week sessions

Jackson Elementary   After-School Tennis Club  Jackson offers after-school clubs, so naturally tennis fit right right in! Students are escorted to the play area after school and divided into groups based on level. Games and fundamentals are the focus here.

McKinley School   After-School Tennis Class  McKinley School is a K-8 campus with it's own tennis courts, which provides a way for CityTennis to develop players from elementary school all the way into middle school.

Glendale Unified School District

(John) Marshall Elementary   Partnership with Glendale (EEELP)  CityTennis is proud to serve as GUSD's first official tennis provider. We run a fantastic, after-school tennis carnival twice per week at Marshall, providing tennis instruction for grades K-2.  Mini-Nets are set up on the blacktop.
